JB Rubber Corby holds and has access to many different “big” tyres for the construction industry with most being available same or next day; ready for fitting on-site at our premises in Corby or by our mobile service.
Each manufacturer produces its own range of tyre moulds based on the application of the tyre. Common ones include:
Industrial Implements and Site Trailers
Multi Rib: designed as a good all-round agro-industrial tyre offering high load capacity at lower pressures – ideal for many farm implements used for soil tillage and transport applications.
Flotation: available both as Implement or Transport. Implement to avoid heavy soil disturbance and Transport for stable road performance whilst maintaining good flotation and grip on site.
Traction: designed similar to R1 or R4 tractor tyres, used on the drive wheels of construction implements.
Rear / Drive
R1 & R1W Construction Tyres are often found on telehandlers as they have a wider contact area and deeper tread giving better road performance particularly in wet weather.
